We specialise in the development and design of backplane and high-speed interconnects and offer a comprehensive range of services to aid in the development of custom-specific systems right from design concept through to design completion or product delivery.

We provide design-only services as well as prototype and full production services.

TIS Electronics supplies backplane designs and products to the military, avionics, telecommunications, data processing, industrial control and instrumentation sectors.

From standard-based designs such as CompactPCI or VME through to high-speed, customised telecom 3.125Gbit/s projects – we have the expertise to provide designs which exceed our customer’s technical and commercial requirements. To do this we consider signal integrity, conformance to industrial and military norms and enclosure integration. We put a high priority on the commercial aspects of product design, to help our customers realise the most cost-effective backplane design.

TIS develops its own standard-architecture backplane platforms including VME, V64x, VXI, CompactPCI and PXI as well as semi-custom variants of these ranges. We therefore understand the hardware design requirements of our customer’s projects and are well placed to support full-custom backplane designs.
